EX: Titans
Chapter One: And so the Adventure Begins

A seventeen year old girl stood nude on a shimmering platform of rippling blue liquid.  Around the edge of this pool was a large metal ring.  Nine orange lights let out a dim glow from that dull ring into the deep black area around it.
“You have arrived.”  A voice echoed through the swirling black around the platform.
“Is someone there?”  The girl asked as her body tensed.  She looked like a high level fighter raising his guard.
“Perhaps an enemy, or maybe a friend.”  The echo responded.  “Let’s have you find out.”
“What’s that mean?”  She asked.  She then yelled as the liquid beneath her feet vanished in a flash of white.  She plummeted through the ring in an instant.

Rin Kosuke shot up in her bed.  Her tan skin dotted with beads of sweat.  Her long blue hair draped to her mid-back and two bangs dropped to her collarbone.  She took a deep breath and shook her head.  It was just a bad dream.  She then stretched in the classic “I just woke up way of stretching.
She climbed out of her bed and stretched again before slamming a foot into a pile of clothing in order to silence the incessant beeping of her alarm clock.  She stifled a yawn while beginning to get dressed.  She pulled on a pair of dark blue pants and secured them to her thin athletic frame with a sapphire belt.  She then picked out a sky blue t-shirt off of a pile and pulled it over her head and finished by putting on a short sleeved blue zip up hoody.  Her last task was to remove her red messenger bag from a pile of trash and clothes and shoulder it before petting the stuffed beetle on the head and leaving her room.

Rin stopped at the front door and slid on her blue and white tennis shoes.  It was customary that one didn’t wear their shoes in the house or bring them in past the entrance; otherwise the girl would have already had them on and bypassed this little detour of her day.
“Are you just now getting up?” Rin cringed as she heard her mother’s voice.  Her mother was a short thin woman that shared very little resemblance to Rin herself.  Her hair was an almost orange color compared to her daughter’s natural blue hair.
“Yeah mom,” Rin said with a slight stutter as she gave her mom a gentle smile.  Her head turned so that her blue eyes met her mother’s green ones. “You’re not at work yet?”
“I have the day off.”  Rin’s mother placed her hands on her hips and glared at the teen.  “I don’t pay good money for you to go to that school so that you can always be late.”
“I’m not always late.”  Rin lived through her playful smile and as she backed up and opened the door.  Truth be told Rin was always late.  The young woman would stay up all night and look at the stars.  They were beautiful.  She was a little envious of them.  “But I will if I don’t get going.”

Rin sighed in relief as she walked down the street.  The sidewalk made a slight crunch noise as she walked on it.  It was covered in dust and grime from the wind storm last night.  Ahead of her, at the bottom of the hill she was now on top of, was the college campus that she would be visiting this school day.  She was used to her mother not being home.  She was certain that there would be a large lecture on punctuality when she got home.  Rin took a deep breath and looked into the blue-green sky of the planet Kuon.  There was no one anywhere on the road, which was suspicious, but Rin just noted it.  A smile played across her face as she raised a palm to the sky.  “One day, I’m going to explore space.”
It was a block later that Rin noticed that she was being followed.  There were two of them, and they dressed in dull grey medieval armor like outfits.  Rin forced herself to keep from laughing at how ridiculous they looked.  She figured there was some sort of fantasy convention in town or something.  It was then that Rin ran smack into a third man dressed in the same type of armor.  She rubbed her head and looked up at the tall man’s face as he glared down at her as if she were a lesser being.  “Excuse me.”
The man grabbed Rin’s wrist as she attempted to go passed him.  She tried to pull free, but his grip was strong.  He spoke in a rugged and cold voice. “Lord Squi would like to speak with you.”
“I’m not really into live action role play.” Rin continued to try and pull free.  “So if you don’t mind.  I’ll be on my way.”
“I’m afraid that you don’t have much of a choice girl.”  He growled and tightened his grip on Rin’s wrist.
Rin glared at him with determination.  She then hopped into the air and spun to slam her shin into the side of the man’s head.  He released her arm as he was thrown into the hard cement of the sidewalk.  Rin just grinned as she smacked her hands together.  Taking those lessons in self defense did bay off, even if she was a natural at it.  She pointed at him while wearing a smug grin.  “And I told you that I wasn’t interested.”
As Rin turned to continue walking to school she felt a huge electric shock hit her in the back.  She toppled in an instant and the world around her turned black.
“Are you okay commander.”  One of the two that were following Rin spoke as both of them clanked hands to their chest in salute.
“I am,” the man clutched his jaw as he stood.  He was checking to make sure it wasn’t broken. “Thankfully, this girl has not fully matured.”  He walked over to Rin and hoisted the girl onto his shoulder.  He then pressed a button on his wrist and the four vanished in a flash of white light.

Rin awoke to a sparse room.  There was a bed and an opening for one to leave, and that was about it.  The walls were a dull dark grey, but they did have the strange design of an odd shaped cross on the wall.  In the doorway was a golden glow.  She rose to her feet and touched it in an investigative matter.  It shocked her and she pulled back as quick as she could.  Rin had no idea why, but even the smallest static felt horrible.  She shook her hand and put the tip of her finger in her mouth.  She grumbled at her predicament, but was still calm as could be.
“Well, it’s good to see that you are awake, and now that you are.”  An elderly male voice spoke up.  Rin turned and saw a man that wasn’t there before.  His face was hidden by a red hood that attached to the red and black cloak that hid the rest of his body.  “Why do want to leave in such a hurry.”
“First off, I have no idea where I am.  I’m smart enough to realize that leaving might not be such a good idea.”  Rin watched the man with a nervous gaze.  “And second, who are you and how did you get in here?”
“For one you are in a cell within an Ori Conqueror class ship.”  The man raised a yound hand up to stroke an invisible chin.  “And it is only polite to give one’s name when you ask for another’s.”
“I’m sorry, my name is Rin Kosuke, and you?”  Rin’s glare turned more defensive as she watched the man.
“Me, why you may call me Ore if you must call me anything.”  He chuckled and walked closer to Rin.  “That should do for now.”
“Okay, Ore,” Rin lowered her guard.  There was nothing to be gained by being threatened of his presence.  “So how do we get out of here?  I’m not much for electrical shocks if you know what I mean.”
“That’s simple young Rin.”  Ore walked back over to the corner where Rin first saw him.  “Simply walk through the door.”
“Yeah, I’m just going to walk right through…” She turned and pointed at the barrier, but noticed that it had vanished.  “Thanks Ore, but how did you…”  She returned her gaze to the man but he too was gone.  The only thing in the room besides her was her own red messenger bag.  She ran over and picked up the bag.  It was lighter than she remembered.  No doubt these people took all the books out of her bag when she was captured.  Not that it mattered.  She didn’t use those books anyway.
She opened the bag to check things and noticed a small purple gem that was wrapped in a gold casing.  She thought about how it got there, but didn’t think much more of it as the alarms went off.  Something must have alerted someone to the fact that Rin’s cage door was open.  She shouldered her bag and ran out of the cell and into a long hallway.  She had to find some way to get off this ship and get home.

Rin ran through one of the many corridors in the ship.  She passed things that she thought were signs, but she couldn’t read them.  She skidded around a corner, and to her left she could now see out of a large window.  Stars dotted the sky above the round globe of the planet she had just come from.
Her eyes lit up and she stared out the window with a childish smile.  She was in space.  All thoughts about going home drained from her head.  She had made it into space.  There was no point for her to go back to that boring life if she could just find some way to get off the ship and then head out into that expanse of stars.  She needed to find a way to do that.  She laughed at her luck
A clanking march then rang through the halls and pulled her from her happy moment.  Around the corner came a group of three armored men.  They carried some sort of spear shaped weapon that was tipped with the same design that the cross had.
“It’s the prisoner.”  One of them shouted as the three ran towards her.  She looked out the window and nodded.  She then turned toward the advancing men.
“No way, I just got into space.”  Rin ran toward them. She barely avoided blue blasts of energy that whizzed by her.  The world was like a slow motion movie to her.  Her body moved and reacted as if she could always go faster than them.  “There is no way I’m going back now.”
Rin ducked down and slid under the group’s legs and kept going in her full sprint.  The three turned and continued to fire the blue energy bolts.  She thanked them in silence for their lousy aim.  Rin turned the corner and ducked into an open room.  She laughed as the group ran passed the doorway.  She looked up and realized that she had run into a cafeteria filled with the armored soldiers.  They raised up some sort of wrist mounted devices toward her.  She gulped and booked it out the door before the blue bolts swarmed out of it.  The guards funneled out behind her, but their aim wasn’t much better than the ones that were following her before.

It wasn’t until Rin reached a large fighter hanger, with countless bird shaped jets inside, that the group stopped firing and backed away from her in a timid manner.  In front of Rin was a man paler than any ghost.  He wore a dull grey cloak that accentuated his silver hair.  His eyes locked with Rin’s.  They were bright silver, but leaked an emptiness and coldness that was greater than that of the deepest part of space.
“I see you managed to escape.  I’m glad we are able to finally meet.”  The cloaked figure cooed as he turned the rest of his body to face Rin.  “I wished to offer you a hand in friendship, and hopped that you will join us down the correct path.”
“Though I will thank you for helping me reach space, you brought me here against my will so that you could be friends.”  Rin spoke and anger dripped from her words.  She got herself into a ready stance.  If it meant reaching space then she would fight through this man and all of those guards behind her if she had too.
“That is the Ori Sage Squi.”  Ore’s voice whispered into Rin’s right ear.  “Do not fight him.  You will not be able to win this fight.”
“Ore,” Rin questioned and looked away for only a second.  Within that second, a long metal tendril wrapped around her ankle and threw her into the air.  A second tendril came from the air and slammed across Rin’s chest.  The two tendrils held her down as Squi aprouched her.  His shinning silver eyes gazed into Rin’s frightened navy ones.  Rin’s scream was louder than his laugh as a third tendril careened toward her head.
Then, in a flash of blue, Rin was gone.  The third tendril was impaled into the plating of the metal wall.  Squi laughed more as the tendrils slinked back into his cloak.
“Is something wrong Lord Squi.”  A guard questioned and bowed.
“She escaped,” he laughed louder, “by sheer luck she escaped.”

“No,” Rin shouted as she bolted up and smacked her forehead into another shock oriented force field.  As she rubbed her now reddening head, she thought about where she was at the moment.  Once again she was in a sparse room but instead of the dark grey walls from last time she was surrounded by red stone walls.
The last thing she remembered was being attacked and about to be impaled by a metal tendril, but now she was in a cylindrical cage.  “Why is it that everywhere I go someone throws me in a cage.”
“Maybe it is because you are a criminal and deserve to be inside a cage, Ori.”  A man entered the room.  He wore clothing similar to that of a monk.  His skin was a pale purple with ashen white hair dotting the sides of his obscenely tall thin head.
“And just who the hell are you?” Rin grumbled catching the rude tone in the man’s voice.  She strained not to laugh at his appearance, but she did glare into his eyes.  They were cold and dark.  They reminded her of that Squi person back on the ship.
“I am the one asking questions here Ori.”  The man scowled at her.  To his right a door hissed open and another man entered the room.  He looked human for the most part, except for the two large plumed wings that expanded behind him.  He had a forest of golden brown hair that bright cerulean eyes shimmered through.  Rin was envious of them in an instant.
“Calm yourself Denom.”  The winged man spoke.  He turned to look at Rin and gave her a gentle bow.  “It is only polite to give ones name before questioning someone about theirs.  My name is Jedi Master Foreg, and the man beside me is Jedi Master Denom.  What is your name young one?”
“My name is Rin Kosuke.  I’m a space explorer from the planet Kuon.”  Rin pointed towards her torso with her thumb and her voice filled with pride.
“Kuon, is that the name of the Ori home world?”  Denom roared and glared at Rin.
“No, Kuon is my home.  The Ori might have been there and kidnapped me, but it is not their home.” Rin answered in an angry tone.  She was beginning to not like this Denom even more.
“Where is this world then?  If I might ask.”  Foreg looked puzzled but she could see in his eyes that he believed her.  “I have never heard of this world Kuon.”
“Well,” Rin crossed her arms and averted her gaze.  Her cheeks reddened a bit.  “I don’t know where it is, but I know I’m from there and I know I’m no Ori.”
“And how do we know this is true.”  Denom shouted.  He pointed at Rin in the way that a prosecutor pointed at the one being prosecuted. “You arrived here using a form of transport that only the Ori seem to use.  You claim to be from a planet that no one has heard of.  How can we possibly believe you?”
Rin stood and almost slammed into the energy barrier around her.  If it wasn’t for that barrier she was sure she would have sent her clenched fist into Denom’s overgrown forehead.  “I don’t know how I got here, but I know that I am no Ori.  If I was would they have kidnapped me from my home.  Would a man named Squi try to kill me if I was one of them?”
“I see.”  Foreg shot his hand up to keep Denom from speaking.  With a wave of his other hand, the cage around Rin fell.  Denom looked furious and stormed out of the room while Foreg placed his hands back within the sleeves of his robes.
“Um, thanks.” Rin scratched the back of her head and smiled.
“Don’t mention it.”  Foreg said.  His face lit up in a gentle glow.  “From what you have said it sounds as though you have escaped the Hyperion.”
“Hyperion?”  Rin questioned and blinked.  Foreg motioned for her to follow and she walked through the door behind him.  Through the door she saw the rest of the building.
They were in a large temple-like structure.  Students were by a large waterfall in the middle of the entirety of the structure, or reading many books from a large library.  In the distance she could see a plethora of starships hovering in the air.  The mere sight of them caused her eyes to light up with joy.
“The Hyperion is the personal ship of the Ori Sage Squi.  I am amazed that you survived your time on board.”  Foreg said while the two walked through the blue and maroon hallways.  “It is the that Squi attacked you that proved you are no Ori.”
“Um, question, who or what exactly is an Ori.” Rin asked as she kept up with the winged man.
“The Ori are a powerful force.  They are bent on ruling over all.”  Foreg took a solemn tone.  “If a race or a people do not bow before them then they obliterate that race and march forward.”
“Yeah,” Rin lowered her gaze.  “I’m definitely not one of them.”
“Yes I can tell.”  Foreg said.  The two had come to a stop in front of a room that was at the beginning of what reminded Rin of an apartment complex.  The orange hue of sunset came filtering through the window.  “I would like to welcome you to stay the night.  As a form of apology.”
“I’d love to, thanks.”  Rin smiled and bowed to Foreg.  He then left her to get used to her accommodations and said that one of his apprentices would come to check up on her in the morning.
Rin entered the room and noted that there was little more than a bed and a dresser inside it.  Her bag lay across the bed.  She moved over to inspect it and its contents.  The purple gem was still inside, but little else.  She sighed and lay down to stare at the ceiling.

Hours later, Rin looked up at the stars of the night sky.  She was a little saddened that she couldn’t recognize any of them.  She shoved her pockets into her hands and sighed.  “Now if only I knew where I was.”
“You are within the halls of the Jedi Temple on Corio.” A woman with short black hair laughed as she approached to Rin’s right.  “Are you lost, little Ori.”
Rin glared at the woman.  She wore the same type of robes as Foreg.  She had a dangerous smile across her and her light blue eyes looked empty to Rin.  “I’m no Ori.”
“Of course you are.  You came through the Stargate after all.”  The girl laughed a bit and then took on a serious demeanor.  “That’s why I and Master Denom think that you should be back in your cage.”
“What’s a Stargate?  And I suppose he sent you here to put me back in there.”  Rin pulled her hands from her pockets and studied her unwanted guest.  She turned her head a bit to the left.  “Well.”
“You should know that Ori, you are pretty smart after all.”  The girl said as her left hand reached into her robes.  “Unfortunately, he wants you dead.”
Rin avoided the cut of a blade aimed at her throat.  Rin then flipped back and got ready for the next attack.  In the woman’s hand was a silver short sword.  A wicked grin played across her face.  “Why does he want me dead?  I haven’t done anything to him.”
“Your appearance here has caused the temple to go on alert.  It is going to be hard to enact my master’s plan with you around.”  The girl laughed and readied her blade.  She rushed forward and sliced at Rin’s neck.  Rin ducked under the slash and slammed a powerful kick into the girl’s gut.  The woman stumbled back clutching her gut.  She growled and threw up her hand.  Rin was thrown backward hard into the wall of the temple. Rin choked as she hit the floor and the air returned to her lungs.  Something that she couldn’t see had hit her.  It hit her hard.
“You cannot defeat me Ori.” She ran up to Rin and slammed a boot clad foot onto Rin’s back.  She laughed.  She flipped her sword in her hand so that the point aimed at Rin.  She then lifted her arms above her head and brought the blade down.

The blade clattered on the ground to the left of the two.  It had been snapped just short of the hilt.  The woman looked to their left with widening eyes.  There stood a girl, a little older than Rin, holding up a closed hand.  She wore a sleeveless version of the robed that the other people of the temple wore.  She had on a miniskirt instead of pants.  On her skin was an elaborate line pattern that glowed a deep red.
“Y…you.”  The girl atop Rin stammered.  She stood, stumbling over Rin a bit, and braced herself.  Rin slightly rose and looked between them.  She felt a strange presence.  It was as if an unseen energy was swirling around them.
“It is past curfew Chi.” The girl with the line pattern spoke with a stern tone.  The red lines on her body dimmed until they were a dull black.  “And why are you bothering our guest?”
“Master Denom sent me to check on her, Aki?”  The woman named Chi lied.  As if the other girl knew the line returned to their vibrant red as she glanced at the blade and back up at Chi.
“I was unaware that a checkup involved jabbing a blade into a person.”   Aki said.  The lines on her body stayed the bright red color that they had obtained.  She grinned and tilted her head to the side while her bright orange eyes fixed on Chi.
It was looking into those eyes that gave Rin her first real glimpse of what fear was.  Behind those orange pools lurked something.  Two phenomenal something’s that battled with all their might just to get a second of a view through the orange lenses.  There was calm inside them as well.  A tranquil chaos echoed out of those eyes and it sent a shiver down Rin’s spine.
“What do my master’s wishes have to do with you Aki?  Chi spat.  Static jumped from her fingertips as she clenched her hands into fists.
“Since my master put me in charge of her safety.”  Aki growled and her eyes narrowed.  In one swift motion Aki spun and avoided a crackling blast of lightning.  In front of her, Chi had raised an open palm and was breathing heavily.
“Then I’ll kill you too.” Chi screamed.  Aki laughed.  She stood up strait.  Her lines glowing a luminescent blue.  Aki swiped her hand through the air.  Chi had then been lifted from the ground and thrown into the wall.  Aki thrusted a palm forward and launched Chi down the hall.
“That’s pretty arrogant of you Chi.” Aki raised her hand into the air and Chi lifted with it.  “You have never beaten me, so how do you believe that you can kill me.”
“Damn you Aki.”  Chi said through choking breaths.  “But you won’t kill me.  You’re too goody-goody.”
“Good point,” Aki chuckled. “Now who is this friend that Denom is meeting?”
“Like I’d tell you that.” Chi gasped. “But tonight will be the end of this temple and its inhabitants.  Not even a Raspik exile will be able to stop it.”
“Night Chi.” Aki snarled.  The lines on her body turned a vibrant red.  The door to Rin’s room opened with a twitch of Aki’s thumb.  Aki then threw Chi hard into the room.  The thrown girl slammed into the wall of the room head first and then lay limp on the ground.  Aki then closed the door and moved over to lock it from the outside.
“Thanks,” Rin stood and looked toward Aki.  The woman’s line pattern had returned to a dull black.  Her eyes turned towards Rin and became gentler in the process.
“Are you unharmed?”  Aki asked as she wore a gentle grin.  She sighed and walked around Rin looking her over.
“A couple of bruises, but I’m okay overall.”  Rin stretched and turned her torso.  She looked around and then returned her attention to Aki. “My name’s Rin Kosuke, nice to meet you.”
“Aki, Aki Miyazaki.” Aki introduced herself with a polite bow.  She then stood up straight and started to walk off into the main part of the temple.
“Hey, wait,” Rin ran to catch up. “What’s going on exactly?”
“I must alert the council.” Aki said as they approached a corner.
“About what?” Rin asked as they turned the corner and saw a large black cloaked figure surrounded by the bodies of students of the temple.
“That.”  Aki gulped.  The figure laughed.  His voice was metallic and echoed through the halls.  He towered above the two girls.
“Now look what we have here.”  He spoke through his laughter.  His voice caused the lines on Aki’s body to ripple a in a blackish blue.  “Two more Jedi, and one is a Raspik.”
“I don’t know what a Jedi is.” Rin shouted as she took a defiant stance.  “But I’m not one of those.  I am a space explorer from Kuon.”
“What are you doing?” Aki asked in a calm whisper.  She placed a hand on Rin’s shoulder.
“We can take him.”  Rin looked over her shoulder and gave Aki a confident smile.
“What do you mean by we?” Aki asked as her eyes narrowed to Rin’s wide smile.
“With my skill and those weird abilities you have.  He won’t last long.” Rin laughed as she returned her attention to the figure.
“And the dead bodies around him mean nothing to you.”  Aki asked but it didn’t shake Rin in the least bit.
“You worry to much.” Rin nodded and then ran at the cloaked figure.  She threw a punch.  He moved to the side and then grabbed her leg with a large talon armed hand.
“Impressive,” He laugh as he held Rin upside down in front of him.  He removed his hood to reveal a dragon-like head.  “You think that you’re strong enough to defeat Darth Draconus.”
“I believe that it doesn’t hurt to try.” Rin grinned before she was thrown into a wall.  Draconus roared afterward as he was being thrown back by the invisible force that Aki controlled.  Her lines were still fairly dull, but the glimmer of green could be seen within them.
“Are you okay?”  Aki ran to help Rin.  “That was very foolish of you.”
“So,” Rin’s eyes narrowed and she clenched her fists.  She turned her navy eyes toward Draconus. He was standing.  From his fingers extended ten long red blades. They looked as though they were made of energy.  “He’s just like any other threat in the universe.  I’ll stand up to that challenge.”
“He has lightsabers for claws, Rin.”  Aki’s eyes widened before another one of Draconus’ loud roars echoed through the halls.
“Then I’ll break them.” Rin gave a confident grin.  She then wipped her thumb across her face and laughed a bit.
“That is impossible.  They’ll cut you to ribbons.” Aki said backing up a little.  She didn’t know where all this confidence came from in this girl, but it was sure to get her killed within the universe.
“Don’t say that.”  Rin turned and gave Aki a thumb up. “If you say something is impossible then you doom yourself to failure.  Push forward through every wall and you’ll end up on top every time.”
Rin then sprinted at Draconus.  The metal dragon lunged forward.  He was fast.  The glowing blades of light came towards Rin’s side.
A humming hiss echoed around them as Aki held the attack back with an orange blade that was also made of light.  Rin laughed before Aki glared at her.  This was fun for the blue haired girl.  Rin nodded and rolled out of the way of the second clawed hand.  Rin then jumped and slammed a knee into Draconus’ jaw.  He doubled back and shook his head.  When he looked up he saw Aki’s blade impaling him in the heart.  Draconus gasped as his glowing red eyes dimmed and he fell to the ground.
“That was by far the stupidest thing that I have ever seen anyone do.” Aki scolded a celebrating Rin.  Rin just turned with a confident smirk and exhaled.
“I told you that we could do it.” Rin pointed a thumb at herself while placing a foot on Draconus’ dead body.
“And did it, you have.”  A small green skinned man walked up to the two.  His face was littered with wrinkles and his hair was a silver white.
“Master Gyme.”  Aki bowed with haste.  The small man raised a hand and shook his head.  He wore a face of pride, but sorrow showed through his aged brown eyes.
“A test, this was.”  Gyme walked over to Draconus’ body.  He turned to look at the two.  “This temple, no more it is.  Go now, into the galaxy you must.”
“Master Gyme, what are you talking about?” Aki asked as she looked up.  Her lines turned a slight blue as she asked this.
“How are we going to go anywhere without a ship?”  Rin placed her hands on her hips and stared.
“Provide ship, we will.  Answers, find you must.”  Gyme hopped over to Aki and placed a hand on the still bowing girl’s shoulder.  Gyme then walked the two girls to a large outdoor docking bay.  He explained nothing to the two as they walked in silence.  Gyme then stopped at a silver hulled ship.  It was a saucer with five triangle shaped plates adorning the outside.
“Go now, defeat the Ori, you must.” Gyme said as he looked toward the two over his shoulder.  In Rin’s eyes he saw the joy from the sight of the ship, while Aki’s were still filled with so many questions.  These two were definitely an odd pair.  He laughed and turned fully towards the two.  The ship’s docking ramp lowered as he spoke.  “The answers, you will find.”
Gyme then vanished, leaving the two girls to stand in front of the ship.  It was Rin that spoke first.  “So what are we going to call it?”
“Huh,” Aki responded.  She was still in shock from Gyme’s words.
“You heard the guy.  This is our ship, and as such we should name it.  Only then is it worthy of a space explorer such as myself.”  Rin wrapped her arm around Aki.  She grinned wildly and waited for Aki’s response.
“I’m not really all that good at naming things.”  Aki’s lines turned a bright pink.  She looked first at the ship, and then at the star filled night sky. “How about the Kineta Astra?”
“Kineta Astra,” Rin questioned as she looked at Aki.
“It means ‘full of energy from the stars.’” Aki said as she took a deep breath and started walking towards the entrance ramp.
“Kineta Astra it is then.”  Rin laughed and ran ahead of Aki.

From a balcony further away, Gyme watched as a lone ship flew into the night sky.  “Believe this suffices, it does.”
“Yeah, thanks for the help my friend.”  A man with short silver hair stepped out of the shadows and looked at the ship that was taking off.  “It seems they’ll have their work cut out for them.”
“Your powers, you used.” Gyme pointed up at the man.  His aged eyes studied him for what he was, but that he would not say.
“You mean against Draconus.  Yeah, I helped those two out a bit.”  He laughed.
“Lasher could find you, Kisuke.  Knows about the Titans, he does.”  Gyme said calmly.
“You let me worry about Lasher old friend.  You work on getting this temple rebuilt.  I’m sure Aki wasn’t too thrilled with leaving.” Kisuke turned and as he walked seemed to morph into a bright white light and vanished from Gyme’s sight.
EX Titans Chapter One.

That's all I can say and I hope you all enjoy reading it. This is a really fun story for me to write and I do enjoy writing it. EX Titans is a huge multiverse story so you might see some of your favorite characters from Video Games, Manga, Anime, and TV in some chapters. This first one is filled mostly with OC's but keeps up the multiverse with use of certian themes.

Anyway, when my scanner is opperational again I'll post some character art as well and look foreward to chapter two. It should be good, and if you want Fanart of this story is always welcome by me. Just tell me after you upload it because I'd love to see it.
